FAQ's

How do I know if I should purchase a plan or just the sleep guide?

It depends on the level of support you’re looking for. Babee Dreams offers one-on-one guidance through our plans or independent learning through our detailed sleep guides. If you prefer a more hands-off approach, the guide may be perfect for you. If you’d like personalised support and step-by-step help, one of our plans would be a better fit.

Do you “sleep train”?

Babee Dreams is here to work with you, not against you. We take a responsive, heart-led approach, flowing with what feels right for you, your little one, and your family.

There are many layers to sleep, and creating space for your baby to practise independent settling is just one of many ways to improve rest. Essentially, yes, it can be considered sleep training if you go down that path, but before doing so, we always look at the underlying layers that can make a big difference on their own.

When strong sleep associations are deeply ingrained and the foundational layers alone aren’t enough, implementing a responsive approach can be the missing piece that brings meaningful improvement.

What if I purchased a sleep guide and now need additional support?

That’s completely okay! You can upgrade to any plan at any time. All Babee Dreams plans include the 4–24 Month Sleep Guide, so the cost of your original guide (or the discounted amount if purchased in a bundle) will be deducted from your plan price.

To upgrade, simply email info@babeedreams.com and we’ll send you an invoice for the remaining balance and get you upgraded!

We also offer add-ons such as one or two weeks of daily check-ins, phone consultations, or on-call support for extra guidance.

How long will it take to see results?

For newborns, there can be many guides promising quick results, but the truth is newborn sleep is unpredictable. You can encourage better rest, but before four months, babies often sleep erratically. From birth to around four months, the goal isn’t to “fix” sleep, it’s to build consistency, comfort, and connection.

For babies four months and older, we recommend dedicating at least 14 days. Most parents see noticeable improvement within the first few days, but every baby is different. Some may take a little longer depending on how strong their sleep associations are.

How should I prepare?

Everything you need to know is included in your sleep guide. There’s a section that walks you through how to prepare for your baby’s new sleep journey step by step.

How old does my baby need to be?

Babee Dreams specialises in families with children from newborn to five years old.  From those early newborn days through toddlerhood and preschool years.

Do you offer plans worldwide?

Yes! All sleep guides are digital PDF documents that can be downloaded on any device. Consultations are completed via phone or social media, so all you need is a reliable phone or internet connection.

Do you work with multiples or just singletons?

Absolutely. Alexandra is a twin mum herself, and nothing brings her more joy than helping other parents of multiples. The 4–24 Month Sleep Guide even includes a dedicated section specifically for twins and multiples.

Do you work with breastfed babies?

Yes! Babee Dreams has successfully supported hundreds of breastfed babies. It makes no difference whether your little one is breastfed or formula-fed. Our approach is adaptable to both.

My child has special needs. Can you help?

Absolutely. We know every family’s sleep journey is unique, especially those with neurodivergent children or multiples.

Our team has firsthand experience with ASD, ADHD, deep separation anxiety, twins, and triplets. With one consultant who is a parent of multiples and another who has children on the spectrum, we truly understand these challenges.

Unlike others, we believe in accessible, affordable support for all families, without increasing our prices. Every parent and child deserves rest, without financial barriers.

I purchased a plan or guide and my child still isn’t sleeping — what now?

If your little one hasn’t improved within 14 days, please contact us. We’ll review what’s happening and help you work towards a realistic goal. Sometimes, factors like teething, illness, or underlying medical issues can interfere with progress, and we’ll help you identify what’s going on.

Does Babee Dreams have qualifications in sleep consulting?

Yes! Alexandra, the owner and founder of Babee Dreams, is a certified sleep consultant through The Sleep Consultant Academy.

Do you offer in-home visits?

No, Babee Dreams does not offer in-home visits. Our guides are designed to be easy to follow, giving you everything you need to feel confident at home. If you’d like personalised support, we provide that via phone or online consultations.

Is this medical advice?

No. The information provided by Babee Dreams is not medical advice. Always consult your GP or paediatrician if you have medical concerns. Additionally, always follow safe sleep guidelines as recommended by Red Nose Australia (or your country’s equivalent).
